Beauty Big Bang Review: Lace & Floral Stamping Plates

 Press Sample

Hey guys! I have 3 more Beauty Big Bang Stamping Plates to share with you. Today, I have some floral and a lace stamping plate. As usual, the stamping plates were nicely etched, and I had no issues with picking up any images.
First up is Stamping Plate XL-005 (SKU: BBBXL-005). This plate has a variety of lace designs.
For my mani, I chose to use the design with the leaves. I began with a beige nude as my base, and then went ahead and picked up the image. Then, I proceeded to fill in the leaves with some flakie polishes. Once they were pretty dry, I went ahead and stamped them onto my nails. The final step was to apply top coat.
Close-Ups:
Stamping Plate XL-022 (SKU: BBBXL-022) features many floral and butterfly images.
For this mani, I chose to use the sunflower image. I began with a mustard yellow polish, picked up the image and stamped it onto each of my nails. Then, I added a bit of brown holo glitter to the middle of the sunflowers. Last thing to do, was to apply top coat.
Close-Ups:
Stamping Plate XL-024 (SKU: BBBXL-024) is full of floral images with some fun backgrounds.
For this last mani, I went with the top middle image from the plate. I applied a lilac polish that has some orange/golden-yellow glitter as my base, and on my ring finger, I sponged on a red/gold glitter polish. For the stamping, I just picked up the image and stamped it onto my middle nail. Picking up the lines from that same image, I decided to stamp them on my pointer nail and pinky. Last thing to do, was to apply top coat.
Close-Ups:
So which is your favorite mani? I think mine has got to be the lace leaves, I just love Fall manis.

Beauty Big Bang Review: Halloween Stamping Plates

 Press Sample

Hi guys! Today I'll be sharing 2 Halloween Stamping Plates from Beauty Big Bang with you. As always, the plates are well-etched and the images pick up easily.
First up is Stamping Plate XL-019 (SKU: BBBXL-019). This one features some eyeballs, skulls, ghosts, and more.
For my mani, I began with a teal polish. Then, I stamped on all the images I chose with white stamping polish. On my pointer and middle nail I stamped on an image full of ghosts, a single ghost on my ring nail, and the word "Boo" on my pinky. The last thing to do, was to apply top coat.
Close-Ups:
Next is Stamping Plate XL-020 (SKU: BBBXL-020). This one features some paisley skulls, creepy zombie hands, a spooky tree, etc.
I chose to use the scary monster eye image from this plate, so I started with a nude beige polish as my base. Then, I picked up the image and filled in the eye with red polish, as well as white. Once that was dry enough, I stamped it onto my middle nail. On the rest of my nails, I just stamped on the scales, or cracked skin. To finish off, I applied a layer of top coat. This one is kinda spooky huh?
Close-Ups:
Well, I hope you liked the manis.

Born Pretty Store Review: Halloween Stamping Plates

 Press Sample

Hi guys! Today I have some Halloween stamping plates from Born Pretty Store to share with you. I have to say I'm really liking how they have been sealing the little pocket that the plate comes in, with a sticker. Also, the sticker has the name of the plate, which I think is pretty great. As always, the plates were well-etched, and I had no issue picking up images.

First up, is the Halloween-L001 Stamping Plate (item #43660). It has a ton of images that include: skeletons, ghosts, bats, candy, and even roses.
For this mani, I began with a pink base. Then, I did some reverse stamping with the candy images, using purple and green. Once dry, I stamped them onto my nails. For my ring finger, I decided to stamp on a skeleton, and then the word "boo", above the skeleton. I then applied top coat. Unfortunately, I ended up smearing some of the images, so I tried to correct that with some of the pink polish, and a last layer of top coat. I just love the accent nail on this one, that skeleton is great.
Close-Ups:
This is the Halloween-L002 Stamping Plate (item #43661). The plate images include: a skeleton couple, a variety of skeletons, pumpkins, bats, ghosts, etc.
For this mani, I began with a teal jelly glitter polish as my base. I chose to use different images for this nail art, and ended up doing some reverse stamping for some of the images. On my pointer, I stamped on a happy skeleton. On my middle nail, I stamped on a ghost and a pumpkin, as well as some stars around them. I chose to stamp a web and a spider on my ring nail, and some stars and bats on my pinky. To finish off, I applied top coat. This mani felt perfect for Trick-or-Treating, so cute and fun.
Close-Ups:
Next, is the Halloween-L003 Stamping Plate (item #43662). The plate includes images of: spiderwebs, a pair of creepy eyes, some Halloween balloons, splatters, and even some images that resemble Oogie Boogie and the hill from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
I chose the spiderweb frame-looking image on the bottom-left of the stamping plate for this look. For my base, I chose to use a lime green polish. Then, I picked up the image, and filled in some of the spaces with orange and purple. I did leave some spaces blank, that way the green would show through. Once, the orange and purple were dry enough, I stamped the image onto my pointer and middle nail. For my ring finger and pinky, I decided to do a sort of french tip. I picked up the image once again, using the sides of the image this time, and filling in the spaces again with the purple and orange, not leaving any blank spaces this time around. Once ready, I stamped the image onto my nails. I really like this look.
Close-Ups:
Finally, we have the Halloween-L004 Stamping Plate (item #43663). This one features: a mummy, some pumpkins, pumpkin expressions, and much more.
For this mani, I put on a purple base. Then, I chose to do a spider mani, so I picked up the web and spider images to stamp onto my nails. Once stamped, I waited for that to dry a bit, and finished off with top coat. This mani was very simple, but it looks pretty cool.
Close-Ups:
Well, I very much hope you enjoyed the manis and the review. Let me know which was your favorite look in the comments below.
