Glam Nails Challenge: Nov.29 - First Frost

Hey guys! I have the last mani of November's Glam Nails Challenge, and the theme for Nov.29 was First Frost. When I thought about the challenge, frosted windows came to mind. I thought it would be so cool to capture the look of frosted windows, so I looked on Google for some inspiration. Well, it was more for knowledge, lol! I live in Southern California, so I have no idea what a frosted window looks like. After looking online, I put some thought into what products I'd use, and it was a bit tough trying to come up with a way to execute this properly. Anyway, I ended up choosing a sheer frosty white, I applied a coat of that and let it dry. Using that same polish, I applied some on a sponge, and sponged it on the outer sides of each nail. Afterwards, I used a coral image to create the "frost" on the sides. Then, I added some small white shards from a topper polish with the help of an orange stick. To finish off, I sponged on some white on the edges of each nail, and applied top coat when it was dry. I hope you like them.
Close-Ups:
I actually like the way they came out, and I think they look pretty neat. I just hope that I was able to achieve the look I was going for. They look kind of better in real life though.

Just so you know, I'm planning to join the December challenge, so stay tuned for that. Thank you for stopping by, until next time.

    1. Thank you! 💖 I had no idea how I'd get those cracks on the sides. I saw the image while going through my plates, and it just clicked. Lol. I'm so glad it worked out.
