Beauty Big Bang Review: Lace & Floral Stamping Plates

 Press Sample

Hey guys! I have 3 more Beauty Big Bang Stamping Plates to share with you. Today, I have some floral and a lace stamping plate. As usual, the stamping plates were nicely etched, and I had no issues with picking up any images.
First up is Stamping Plate XL-005 (SKU: BBBXL-005). This plate has a variety of lace designs.
For my mani, I chose to use the design with the leaves. I began with a beige nude as my base, and then went ahead and picked up the image. Then, I proceeded to fill in the leaves with some flakie polishes. Once they were pretty dry, I went ahead and stamped them onto my nails. The final step was to apply top coat.
Close-Ups:
Stamping Plate XL-022 (SKU: BBBXL-022) features many floral and butterfly images.
For this mani, I chose to use the sunflower image. I began with a mustard yellow polish, picked up the image and stamped it onto each of my nails. Then, I added a bit of brown holo glitter to the middle of the sunflowers. Last thing to do, was to apply top coat.
Close-Ups:
Stamping Plate XL-024 (SKU: BBBXL-024) is full of floral images with some fun backgrounds.
For this last mani, I went with the top middle image from the plate. I applied a lilac polish that has some orange/golden-yellow glitter as my base, and on my ring finger, I sponged on a red/gold glitter polish. For the stamping, I just picked up the image and stamped it onto my middle nail. Picking up the lines from that same image, I decided to stamp them on my pointer nail and pinky. Last thing to do, was to apply top coat.
Close-Ups:
So which is your favorite mani? I think mine has got to be the lace leaves, I just love Fall manis.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the short review and manis. If you're planning to make a purchase from Beauty Big Bang, remember to use my code ANNY for 10% off your order. I've listed their socials below, in case any of you are interested.

Beauty Big Bang Review: Halloween Stamping Plates

 Press Sample

Hi guys! Today I'll be sharing 2 Halloween Stamping Plates from Beauty Big Bang with you. As always, the plates are well-etched and the images pick up easily.
First up is Stamping Plate XL-019 (SKU: BBBXL-019). This one features some eyeballs, skulls, ghosts, and more.
For my mani, I began with a teal polish. Then, I stamped on all the images I chose with white stamping polish. On my pointer and middle nail I stamped on an image full of ghosts, a single ghost on my ring nail, and the word "Boo" on my pinky. The last thing to do, was to apply top coat.
Close-Ups:
Next is Stamping Plate XL-020 (SKU: BBBXL-020). This one features some paisley skulls, creepy zombie hands, a spooky tree, etc.
I chose to use the scary monster eye image from this plate, so I started with a nude beige polish as my base. Then, I picked up the image and filled in the eye with red polish, as well as white. Once that was dry enough, I stamped it onto my middle nail. On the rest of my nails, I just stamped on the scales, or cracked skin. To finish off, I applied a layer of top coat. This one is kinda spooky huh?
Close-Ups:
Well, I hope you liked the manis.

Beauty Big Bang Review: Mermaid Brush & Aurora Nail Powder

 Press Sample

Hi guys! Today I have a review of 2 items from Beauty Big Bang to share with you.
First up, we have this beautiful Mermaid Brush (SKU: J2828-2C). I had actually picked out another design, but received this one instead. I did let them know, so I hope that it helps them be more careful when sending out their items. Other than that, the brush was perfectly fine. It's beautiful, and it's just so soft. Overall, a good quality brush in my opinion.
I took inspiration from the brush itself, and did a gradient plus stamping to match. I started off with a green base, and when dry, I did the gradient using that same green, plus a blue and a purple. Once I finished the gradient, I top coated to get my gradient as blended as possible, and then proceeded to stamp the mermaid scale design on all of my nails. The last thing to do was to apply top coat. I just love the look of this mermaid mani, especially with all the fun colors.
Close-Ups:
The second item I received, is the Aurora Nail Powder (SKU: J2831). The powder was pretty easy to work with, and it gave my mani such a pretty effect.
Close-Up:
I used the same mermaid gradient mani as my base, and I added a layer of No-Wipe Gel Top Coat so the powder could stick. I cured that layer, and then began to apply the powder. I used a silicone tool to pick up the powder and rub it onto my nails. I had actually tried the silicone tool once before with a holo powder, and it did not work for me, but this time around, I had no issue. I believe it might work better with specific powders, and maybe practice - which I need a lot of. Anyway, once all my nails were covered with the powder, I went ahead and used the Mermaid Brush to dust off the excess powder. Last thing to do, was to apply a coat of No-Wipe Gel Top Coat and cure.
Close-Ups:
So what do you guys think? The powder gave the mani such a cool effect, and my nails and the brush ended up matching quite well. I loved this look.

Well, I hope you guys enjoyed the manis and reviews. If you're planning to make a purchase, remember to use my code ANNY for 10% off your order. I've also gone ahead and listed their socials below, in case you'd like to give them a follow.

Beauty Big Bang Review: Stamping Plate XL-007

 Press Sample

Hi guys! Today, I'll be sharing the last stamping plate I received from Beauty Big Bang.

This is Stamping Plate XL-007 (SKU: BBBXL-007). The plate has many unicorn images, as well as: clouds, stars and rainbows.
Just looking at the plate, I knew I wanted to use those cute little clouds. I started off with a pastel blue base on my pointer and pinky, and a sky blue on my middle and ring finger. For my pointer and pinky, I went ahead and did a smoosh design using a stamper - I used that same pastel blue, a pastel pink, and a lavender for my smoosh design. While that was drying, I picked up my cloud image and did some reverse stamping, filling in the clouds with a silver holo polish. Once filled in, I went ahead and stamped it onto my nail. For my middle nail, I picked up the rainbow image, and filled it in, using the polishes I used for the smoosh and clouds. I then chose the unicorn from a bigger image, added the "I'm a unicorn" phrase, and stars to complete my ring finger. As you can see, I used many different images to achieve that nail design. To finish off the mani, I applied top coat.
Close-Ups:
I am so glad this mani turned out ok, but I kind of wish I had just gone with a whole cloud mani instead. Other than that, I had no issues with the plate.

Beauty Big Bang Review: Stamping Plate XL-002

 Press Sample

Hey guys! Today I have the next stamping plate from Beauty Big Bang to share with you.

Stamping Plate XL-002 (SKU: BBBXL-002) is another plate with great summer designs. It has some beachy, vacation, nautical, and mermaid images. I had no issue with picking up the images, and I must say that I believe I'm finally starting to get better at stamping with the metal stamper from one of my past reviews. That makes me so happy. 😄
Anyway, for my mani, I was inspired by one of my favorite shows - H2O: Just Add Water. I started off with a base of the lightest blue polish on all of my nails. Then, I added drops of various blues and teals to my stamper, and stamped it on my silicone mat. After that, I stamped whatever was left on my stamper onto my nails, making a smoosh design on my: pointer, ring finger and pinky. Over the smoosh design, I stamped on some mermaid scales (I filled in some scales), and a mermaid. For my middle nail, I chose an island image - I picked it up and filled it in. Once it was filled in, I stamped it onto my nail. The last thing to do was to apply top coat. Since my mani was inspired by H2O: Just Add Water, the island is supposed to be Mako Island, and it had to include a mermaid of course.
Close-Ups:
So what do you guys think? I really like how this turned out, and I'm so glad that my stamping is improving.

Well, I hope you guys enjoyed this short review and mani. Remember to use my code ANNY for 10% off your order. I've listed their socials below in case you'd like to check them out.
