Hey guys, I hope you're all doing well. Today I have a gradient mani for you. Kayla from creativecuticlesnailpolish was having a contest and we were supposed to do a sunrise or sunset mani, so I went for a sunrise mani and I did a beach sort of background. I painted mountains/islands in the distance, a Ferris wheel and a palm tree. I really like how these came out and I'm very happy to say that my gradients are improving. I didn't have any pieces of sponge stay behind on my nail this time which is great. Anyways, let's get to the nail art.
Holding Sinful Colors "Ruby Mine":
I started off with Sinful Colors "Snow Me White" as my white base. For my gradient I used 2 blues, a pale yellow, and a reddish coral. After I finished my gradient, I put on a coat of top coat to smooth and blend the colors. I painted on the details with black acrylic paint and a brush. Once dry, I sealed it all in with top coat.
Close-Ups:
That's it for this post, I hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for stopping by, and until next time.-Ana
