Hi everyone! I actually have a holiday mani to share with you today. If you happen to be celebrating, I hope you have a safe and happy 4th of July.
So let's get to the mani shall we?
This mani was inspired by Dianna's half-moon 4th of July mani, I thought it was so unique and I fell in love with it. I just found her on Instagram a few days ago and immediately followed her.
I started off with a red holo base and let that dry. Then, I applied top coat since I'd be using reinforcement stickers to create the half-moon. I can't recall if I got the stickers at the 99 cents only store or the Dollar Tree, but it was one or the other. Once the top coat had completely dried, I applied the stickers to the top of my nail. Afterwards, I brushed on the blue glitter polish I chose and took off the sticker while the polish was still wet. While that dried, I adhered the tiny star glitter on my nails by using some top coat. To finish, I let my nails dry for some more time before applying a generous coat of top coat.
Close-Up:
So what do you guys think? I think they look pretty good, but I wish I could have recreated Dianna's mani more accurately. I just loved how the blue polish she used had red glitter, it gave it a cool look.Well I really hope you guys like the mani, and you should definitely check out Dianna's IG, it's linked above in case you're interested. Thanks for stopping by, until next time.
-Ana
