First Day of Fall 2018

Goodbye Summer, hello Fall! 🍁 Who else is as happy as I am, that this beautiful season is here? Let me know what your favorite Fall activity is in the comments.

Well, since Fall is my favorite time of year, I decided to do some Fall nails to welcome the season. I began with a nude polish with shimmer as my base, and chose 3 holos to stamp with. On my ring finger, I stamped a single leaf. For the rest of my nails, I chose an image with multiple leaves. To get the gradient effect, I added the 3 holo polishes over the image, and scraped a few times to get the colors to blend. Then, I picked up the image as fast as I could, and stamped it on my nails. After I finished stamping, I went ahead and added top coat.

I really like how these turned out, and I'm so ready to see more Fall nail art.

As always, thank you for stopping by. Until next time.

Glam Nails Challenge: Dec.13 - Poinsettia

Hi guys! Today's mani is for Dec.13 of the Glam Nails Challenge, and the theme was Poinsettia. I know I'm late with the challenges again, but I plan on finishing this. So I apologize to those of you that don't want to see holiday manis anymore, but expect more of them. Lol. Anyway, I started off with a golden yellow holo for my base and began to look for an image that would help me achieve the look of a poinsettia. I didn't have any poinsettia images, so I took a leaf image and used that. I first stamped it on with a green polish and added a lighter green to create the leaves. I then used a dark red polish and added red to make the petals of the flower. It could've come out better to be honest, I did regret not adding some white to the back of the flower. It would've popped more. Last thing I did, was add some golden dots near the middle of the flowers, let that dry, and added top coat.
Close-Ups:
Well I hope you guys still like these, even though they do look a bit weird. Thanks for stopping by, until next time.

Glam Nails Challenge: Nov.22 - Fall Gradient

Happy Thanksgiving guys! If you are celebrating, I hope you have a great time with your loved ones. I'll be celebrating with my family and relatives, which I'm very thankful for. I might even do some Black Friday shopping with my sister, so that will be fun I hope. It also happens to be my sister's birthday today, which is pretty special. I hope she really enjoys herself.

So, let's get to today's mani shall we? The theme for Nov.22 of the Glam Nails Challenge was Fall Gradient. I chose 5 beautiful holo polishes and did a gradient. Afterwards, I decided I wanted to add a bit of stamping over it to make it more of a Fall mani. I picked a leaf image since I did my gradient with leaf colors, and I think it was a perfect choice. The last thing to do was apply top coat. But unfortunately, I smeared my pointer nail by accident.

Blurry Close-Up:
I really liked the gradient, so I took pictures before the stamping.

Well I hope you guys like these.

A big thank you to all of you for stopping by, and may you have a wonderful day. Until next time.

Glam Nails Challenge: Oct.18 - Sugar Skull

Hi guys! Today's Glam Nails Challenge is Sugar Skull for Oct.18. I decided to use some really bright neon colors for my base since Dia de los Muertos is usually very bright and colorful. I chose my polishes and did a smoosh mani using my stamper, and added top coat to that after it dried. I then chose my images, did some reverse stamping, and then applied the images to my nails. I actually took off the mustache to one of the sugar skull images so I could make a sugar skull couple. I think they turned out pretty cute. I also added some Cempasuchils, or Marigolds, because they are usually used for the Day of the Dead celebrations.
Close-Ups:
So what do you guys think? I know they're a bit vibrant for Halloween, but I think they came out pretty cool.

Oh, and here's how the base looked before I added any stamping.
Close-Ups:
Well thank you for stopping by, until next time.

Fall Nails Inspired by @polishedtwins

Happy First Day of Fall! Oh my gosh, I've been waiting to say that for a while now, lol. I'm so excited Summer is finally over and Fall is here. You know what that means. Cooler weather, warm drinks, boots and scarves, leaves changing color, pumpkins everywhere, Halloween, and much more. I'm so ready!

Anyway, I did a mani to welcome this beautiful season, which just happens to be my favorite. I actually saw this mani on Pinterest a long time back and I saved it because I wanted to try it. This mani was inspired by Kristin from polishedtwins, click here to see her mani. I did the same glitter gradient she did, but I stamped on the leaves instead of painting them on, and I didn't color them in either. Well here they are.
Close-Ups:
I also added a matte top coat to see how they'd look.
Close-Ups:
I hope you guys liked them. I think they looked much better in real life though, it was pretty difficult to capture these how I wanted. I still like how they turned out, simple but cute.

Like always, thank you for stopping by. Until next time guys.
