Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well. Today I have a review for you guys.

A while back I was asked by Melissa, owner of MDJ Creations, if I'd be interested in reviewing some of her polishes. I said I'd be happy to, and here's what she sent.

First up we have More Than Meets The Eye which is part of her A Night Out Collection. It's a light gray crelly with various sized hex glitters in a variety of pinks, silver holo shimmer glitter, tiny silver holo bars, and colorful flakies. I actually like the combination of pinks and gray, they go well together. The polish went on nicely without struggle, and it dried pretty fast too. I turned the bottle upside down for a while before applying, and I didn't have to fish for glitter. The pictures show 2 coats plus top coat, and matte top coat on the ring finger.

Next is Cappuccino, a beautiful golden caramel holo polish which is part of the Dessert Duo. This polish went on so smoothly, I absolutely loved it. The pictures show 2 coats plus top coat, and matte top coat on the ring finger.

I thought it was so pretty, I just had to pair it with MDJ Creations' "Leg Warmers" (which I purchased during Melissa's Black Friday sale). They go together beautifully, don't you think?

Lastly, we have the cuticle oil. Melissa sent me the Honeysuckle Cuticle Oil, the label says it includes 'Therapeutic Frankincense and Lavender Oil'. Honestly, this scent isn't really for me. The scent choosing is about preference though, so that would be all up to what you'd like. Even though I did not enjoy the smell, I very much liked how it made my cuticles feel, especially because I didn't have to use so much to moisturize. A little goes a long way guys. Putting less than a drop per finger was perfect because it didn't leave my fingers all oily. I just massaged the oil into my cuticles and let my skin absorb it. Basically, I thought the cuticle oil was good, it did its job and that's what counts.

This is my first time using MDJ Creations' products, and I have to say I'm quite impressed. The polish formulas were great, and the cuticle oil worked well. Love, Angeline's "Topped With Love" Review

Hi guys! I hope you're all doing well. I had the honor of testing out a new top coat, and today I have the review for you.

Topped With Love is Love, Angeline's new fast drying top coat. I did 2 manis to test it out and I have to say I'm very impressed with the results. The consistency wasn't too thin or too thick, and it went on smoothly. It gave my manis a beautiful shine and it dried pretty fast. Less than 5 minutes after I applied it, it was dry to the touch. Also, I noticed that it didn't have such a strong or bad smell like others do, and there didn't appear to be any shrinkage.

Here's the first nail art design. I was inspired by some cute sticky note flags I got at Target's dollar spot. I actually posted a picture on my Instagram, you can see it here.

I definitely knew I wanted to do some nail art with acrylic paint to see if the top coat would crack it. The snowman, candy canes and snow were all done with paint. As you can see in the pictures, the top coat did not crack the paint at all. So the acrylic paint doesn't look super glossy after top coating, but it does smooth it out quite a bit and you can't see all the layers of paint I added. I sometimes add 2 coats of top coat to my nail art, and I decided to do that here. The second coat really helped level out the design further and give it some shine.

For my second mani, I wanted to try out the top coat with vinyls. I painted on my base color, top coated and let that dry completely. I placed the vinyls on my nails and brushed on a different colored polish. I removed the vinyls while the polish was still wet and waited a few minutes for the polish to dry a bit. I applied the top coat, and to my surprise, it didn't smear the polish. The top coat added a beautiful gloss to the mani, and just look at the holo shine. I only added one coat to this mani. On my accent nail I added a nail charm. I actually don't have any nail glue so I used a dot of "Topped With Love" to adhere it to my nail. But since the top coat isn't meant to work as a glue, the charm didn't stay on for long.

So overall, I believe this top coat is wonderful. If you're looking for a new top coat, then you might want to give this one a try. It does its job beautifully, and it's now available in Natosha's store. I've linked her store and Instagram below in case you're interested.

Summer Wine & Tide Pools

Happy Friday guys! I purchased some polishes from Reverie Nail Lacquer, and I have swatches to show you. I finally got Summer Wine, which I've had on my wish list since it was first released. Tide Pools was also on my wish list, but I was most excited about Summer Wine. Lol. So let's get to the swatches.

First up is Summer Wine, a red jelly polish with a variety of glitter, including: pinks/yellow/orange matte hexes, copper/gold metallic hexes, green/blue/pink-orange iridescent hex glitters, and light pink/yellow circle matte glitter. The formula was good, it went on so smoothly. I was so happy to finally get this polish, and it didn't disappoint. It's beautiful!

Tide Pools is a gorgeous glitter-packed dark blue jelly polish with gold shimmer. It has white star glitter, dark green/white/silver/gold/light blue metallic circle glitter, blue iridescent hexes, copper/dark green metallic hexes, and bright blue hexes. There was no need to fish for any glitter. The formula was pretty thick and a bit difficult to work with, but it's totally worth it in my opinion. This one ended up being my favorite of the 2. I just think it's so unique, and the color combination is perfect.

Reverie Nail Lacquer's Summer Squish Trio + LE

Happy Saturday guys! Today I have a review on Reverie Nail Lacquer's Summer Squish Trio, and Limited Edition (LE) Fairy Pools. I was so lucky to win this awesome giveaway, Michelle's polishes are amazing. These are actually my first Reveries, but I sure do plan to add more to my collection.

First up is Fresa, a reddish pink jelly full of silver circle glitter, matte hexes in various shades of pink, pink matte circles, iridescent hexes in various sizes, and tiny pink sparkly holo glitter. This polish is so glitter packed that you don't need to fish for glitter. It applied nicely, and I had no trouble with the formula. Also, 2 coats would've been fine but I did 3 for opacity.

Open Water is a blue jelly polish full of tiny blue sparkly holo glitter, and matte circle and hex glitter in various sizes and colors including: yellow, orange, blue, and white. There's no need to fish for glitter with this polish either. It applied nicely, and I had no trouble with the formula. I did 3 coats for opacity.

Berry Sorbet is a purple jelly full of matte/metallic hexes and circles in various sizes and colors including: lilac, yellow, and many shades of pinks. It also has blue and coral iridescent hex glitter in various sizes. This polish does require a bit of fishing, but it's ok. I think it's totally worth it because it's such a gorgeous polish. It has a good formula, and applied nicely. I had to do 4 coats for opacity.

The last one is a Limited Edition polish called Fairy Pools. It's a beautiful teal jelly with purple shimmer, hex and circle glitter in various sizes and colors including: pastel teal, pinks, lime green, orange and purple. This polish also contains flower shaped matte/metallic glitters in pinks, lilac and lime green; as well as iridescent hex glitters and blue clear circles. The smaller sized glitters do not need to be fished out. However, the flower glitters are a bit tougher to come across, so I'd recommend you turn the bottle upside down for a few minutes if you want it to be easier to get the bigger glitters out. I had no problem with the formula, and I did 3 coats for opacity.

Overall, I thought the collection was great and I'd really recommend it. I loved all the jellies, and I got a very good first impression of the brand. Born Pretty Store Thermal Polish

Happy Monday guys, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Today I have a review for you. I recently received 2 color changing polishes, or thermals (as most of us know them) from the Born Pretty Store. Please know that even though I received these items at no charge, the opinions and thoughts are my own.

First up is 103: a polish that is sky blue when warm, and a dark lavender when cold. It was streaky on the first and second coat, but pretty much leveled out on the third. The polish was a bit tough to work with at times, I'm not sure if the problem was the formula or the brush. It would go on okay on the first stroke down the nail, but as I applied the polish down the sides, it would go streaky. I did mention this to them, and I was told that I probably had trouble with it because of the temperature, since it's been a bit hot. But other than that, the color change did work like it was supposed to. The pictures show 3 coats plus 2 coats of top coat.

Next is 110: an icy blue polish with silver shimmer when warm, and a steel blue with silver shimmer when cold. It was sheer on the first coat, but covered nicely on the second. 2 coats would've been fine, but I did 3 to make sure it'd be opaque. The formula was good on this polish, and the color change was subtle, but it worked well. I was initially informed that the color change on this polish would most likely not work, but I decided to test it out anyways. I'm happy I gave it a shot because it ended up working, and to top it off, it's a gorgeous shade. The pictures show 3 coats plus top coat.

I also did some nail art with the polishes, which I'm excited for you to see.

For the first nail art design, I used 103 as a base. I put on some striping tape to create a design on each nail, and used 110 over it. On the nail where I did the "x" design, I added a silver square stud. (The stud was part of some giveaway goodies I won.) I just love how it looks. You can see a bit of transition in the first picture.

For the second nail art design, I used 110 as my base color. I decided to do a mermaid design because I thought it'd be cool with the color change effect. So, I took some black acrylic paint and a brush, and painted on the scales. Afterwards, I took some loose glitter (I purchased from the Dollar Tree), and randomly filled in some of the scales. It turned out pretty cool, I just wish the scales looked better. Again, the first picture shows a bit of the polish transition.

So what do you guys think of these? I was very pleased with the fact that the color change worked so well on both polishes. I did struggle a bit with 103 being streaky, but it ended up looking ok in the end. I really liked 110, the formula was good and it was so pretty.
